an american classic

Happy birthday, USA! Ralph Lauren has been a staple among fashion-forward Americans for over 40 years, and to celebrate, I’ve compiled a collection of some gorgeous ads! It seems that Valentina Zeliaeva is the go-to girl for Ralph Lauren these days — she’s absolutely beautiful, and, most importantly, classic. Still, my favorite ad here has to be the Filippa Hamilton one from December 2008 (third from the top). The colors are stunning! Click here for a timeline history of the brand, starting from its launch in 1967.

{On a side note, I’m aware that some of the photos are missing models or photographers — if you happen to know any this information, let me know and I’ll add it in!}

I’ll leave you all with a Ralph Lauren Romance ad (click here to watch!) … the quality isn’t that great, but its a lovely short film and I love that its all in black and white.

Enjoy the fireworks, America!!!
